Calculator and finder inputs
Our finder, compatibility checker and cost calculator process the selections you enter in your browser. The custom tool code does not send those inputs to a Grainmill.net database. Their inputs reset when you reload or leave the page.
Milling notebook storage
The notebook uses this browser’s local storage on this device. It stores the batch date, grain name, mill model, settings, weights and notes you choose to save. The custom site code does not upload these notebook records to a server.
You can delete individual entries or download a JSON backup using the notebook controls. Clearing this site’s browser data removes locally stored entries. Private browsing, device changes and browser restrictions can affect storage. A downloaded backup remains wherever you save it; deleting a local notebook entry does not delete your downloaded copy.
Hosting and external services
The hosting service may process technical request information necessary to deliver and operate the site. We do not control every aspect of platform-level logging. No custom analytics tracker, advertising pixel, email signup or contact form is installed in this build.
External links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Amazon product images, when displayed, load from external image hosts, which receive the requests needed to deliver them. Amazon affiliate links can include a site tracking identifier; it is not a notebook record.
Keep sensitive details out of batch notes
The notebook is designed for milling observations, not private identity, health or payment information. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to read its locally stored notes. See the notebook for storage controls and the affiliate disclosure for commercial-link information.
